Trail Work Schedule
Sep 26th, 2009, 12:50am

CoolHello guys and gals, just to let you know that we'll have a trail work on October 3,2009.  Starts at 8-noon. We need to fix under I-95. We need to put some posts in that area to keep ATV's and Dirtbikes from getting into our trail. Pete offered to give us some posts to use, but they need to be picked up at  his house. We need the post hole digger and shovels for the uphills before the Big Dipper and the uphill before I-95. Those two parts needed some shielding to prevent those dirt and sand from eroding. We also need the chainsaw to cut the post. Lastly we need some grooming. Main entrance was overgrown and some other areas after the camel back. Everybody's welcome, if you dont want to use the tools then feel free to pick some garbage on the trail. We need your support. We need your ideas before this trail officialy opens. See yah. By the way, Miller Wild trail work ( September 26,2009 starts 7:30 till noon ).

CoolThanks to all those people who showed up today. We busted our A__  working on Fort Pierce MTB Trail so that other Mountain Bikers could ride it. Maybe they could give us a hand next time if we schedule some trail work day. Anyways, for those of you guys who showed up today during our trail work, you all did an excellent job. The trail was groomed and the telephone post were mounted to avoid ATV's getting in our trail. It was in packed and fast. I'll mount the temporary signs tomorrow morning. You guys rock. Wink

It will be nice when we can keep the ATV's out from under I-95. The trails they have in the middle section there seem like they would be a ton of fun and much better than tearing up our trails including the portions under I-95. MTBs and ATVs ride totally different types of trails, I just don't understand why they keep trying to trash ours that are not conducive for there vehicles.
