Rode this yesterday, and it was quite fun. It just needed a pumptrack in the middle of all the "features" .

The trail atQuiet Waters was  fun. Much different than the original QW trail, but still a lot of fun. I liked the bermed halfpipe-ish section. Kind of a longer but MUCH smaller version of the first rabbit ear at Alafia. Good flow over all .  Can get some good speed, just have to watch out for sliding out on the loose rocks.

The man made stuff was well done as well....They plan on adding about another2.5 miles onto the existing.  They plan on a wooden half pipe course as well. Not sure it would replace the existing half pipe. They really should plant as many trees as possible. Even saplings to wait for for them to mature.

If you are gonna ride it, do it soon or in the summer try early morning of late evening.

ditto on the trees. look at jd with no trees, place will become sand pits after a while.

looks like they are doing a great job with what they have though!

QW doesn't appear to have to worry too much about sand, the trail is mostly on shellrock.

I stopped by QW after riding Markham last week just to take a quick lap  to see what had changed in the last year or so .  I don't think sand will be an issue either, pretty rocky ride.  They absolutely have done a good job with what they have left.  Problem is that there isn't much left, and there is ZERO cover.

Sadly, unless you live close by, I think it is just a place to check out every year or so on your way home from Markham to see what has changed.
