I rode at JD this evening to take advantage of the wet conditions. Clouds were still spitting during the ride.

Quite a bit of cypress mulch was laid today on the Ranger Trail and the first section of the Palmetto trail.

New pair of sand ladders in that downhill stretch one used to have to pedal down.

They do great work down there mitigating the sand. The mulch works well.

Im sure its even better today from all the rain. they actually have a sign now called "The Sand Pit" funny. Im going to try to get out Sat morning early or Friday evening. honeydew Huckster All the Way! Posts: 71	Re: JD Reply #11 - Jul 23^rd, 2010, 5:54pm I rode it this afternoon and the rain has not mitigated the sand as much as I was expecting. The bunker hill section remains very overgrown and the down trees are still on the trail.

I tried out that everytrail app, only got a couple pics though due to periods of heavy rain.
